Salted Caramel Protein Bites

Easter candy is fun and festive... until the sugar crash hits. That’s why I whipped up these Salted Caramel Protein Bites. They’re chocolatey, a little salty, and totally satisfying without any refined sugar. Plus, they’ve got healthy fats and a protein boost from my NEW Salted Caramel Bone Broth Protein to keep you going. Whether you’re sneaking a treat from the fridge or swapping out your kids' candy stash, these are a holiday win. Kid-Friendly tip: Shape them into little Easter eggs!

Yields: ~30 bites Total Time: 1 hour & 15 minutes (15 minute prep time, 1 hour freeze time)

Ingredients:

Salted Caramel Protein Easter Egg Dough:

1 cup coconut flour

½ cup raw walnuts

¼ cup hemp hearts

1 scoop Dr. Kellyann’s Salted Caramel Bone Broth Protein

¼ cup raw tahini

1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon

¼ tsp hand-harvested sea salt

¼ cup filtered water, as needed to blend 

Topping:

¼ cup dark chocolate chips, refined sugar free >70% raw cacao

1 tbsp coconut oil

Flaky sea salt

Directions:

In a food processor or sturdy blender, blend all the ingredients together for the dough until a smooth consistency has been achieved. 

Roll dough into 30 small eggs, each using approximately 1½ tbsp of the dough, and line evenly on parchment paper.

Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil over low stovetop heat, and evenly drizzle melted chocolate over the eggs. Top each egg off with flaky sea salt, and place to freeze for 1 hour, or until the chocolate has fully hardened. 

To store, place to freeze in an airtight container.
