However, our favorite shake recipe involves mixing in ¼ cup of frozen raspberries and ½ tablespoon of chia seeds for even more fiber and protein. You can also try adding in a tablespoon of fresh matcha powder or a teaspoon of kelp powder to add in even more essential nutrients.
For added thickness and healthy fats, try adding MCT oil, peanut butter, almond butter, or another nut butter (just make sure you don’t overdo it on the carbohydrates). Or, thicken it up with some plain ice cubes and throw in a pinch of sea salt to complement other flavors.
Use some heavy cream, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, and a sweetener like erythritol or stevia to make your own whipped cream to put on top.
