  1. Start Your Day with Protein
    Eating protein first thing in the morning can help regulate blood sugar, boost metabolism, and keep you energized throughout the day. Pairing protein with fiber, like avocado, makes it even more effective.
  2. Add Fermented Foods to Your Diet
    Gut health is essential to overall wellness. Incorporate foods like sourdough bread, kimchi, sauerkraut, or coconut yogurt, which support digestion and nourish healthy gut bacteria.
  3. Sip on Bone Broth Daily
    Bone broth is a powerhouse for gut health, immunity, and beauty. Packed with collagen, it helps support glowing skin, strong joints, and overall nourishment. Aim for one to two cups a day, whether on its own or as part of your intermittent fasting routine.

Golden Glow Elixir Recipe
Serves: 4
Total Time: 10 minutes (10-minute prep time)

Ingredients:

  • 1” fresh ginger knob, peeled & minced
  • 1½ tsp ground turmeric
  • Pinch cayenne pepper
  • Pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp Ashwagandha powder
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 3 tbsp raw Manuka honey
  • 1 bottle (25 fl. oz) sparkling water

Garnish:

  • Fresh mint leaves

Method:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients, excluding the raw Manuka honey and sparkling water.
  2. Once a paste has formed from the spices and lime juice, incorporate the raw Manuka honey, whisking until the honey has been fully dissolved.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a large pitcher and stir in the sparkling water. Mix well, then pour the drink evenly over ice into four glasses.
  4. Garnish with mint leaves to finish and enjoy!
