Spring Detox Water

As the seasons change, so does your body’s natural rhythm. Spring is all about renewal, and that includes giving your liver and digestion some extra love! Your liver is your main detox organ, and this Spring Detox Water is designed to help it do its job—so you feel lighter, brighter, and more energized.

Serves: 4-6

Total Time: 2-3 hours (including steep time) (10 minute prep time, 2-3 hour or overnight steep time )

Ingredients:

1 large grapefruit, sliced

½ English cucumber, sliced

2-3 sprigs rosemary

2-3 sprigs fresh thyme

8 cups cold filtered water

Directions:

Peel the grapefruit and slice it into thin wedges. If you prefer, you can also cut into segments to release more juice. Slice the English cucumber, and add to the bottom of a large pitcher, alongside the grapefruit and all of the fresh herbs. 

Fill the pitcher with the filtered water, and let steep for 2-3 hours to let all the flavors combine. For optimal flavor, opt to let the mix steep overnight in the refrigerator. 

Once steeped, serve to enjoy as is, or over ice. 

To store, place pitcher in the refrigerator to last up to 3 days.
